Aerosmith appeared on The Today Show this morning, and in the course of their relatively brief appearance, lead singer and noted gypsy scarecrow Steven Tyler did the following things: 1) Looked straight into the camera and said the name of their chief ratings rival; and 2) Screamed the F-word at the top of his lungs while Al Roker was trying to do the weather. All in all a pretty solid showing.
RELATED: What in the hell is going on with morning shows lately? In the last couple weeks alone we’ve had a beloved Oscar winner and Rock & Roll Hall of Famer both say the F-word live on camera, and Kathie Lee Gifford drop a puppy on its damn face. I know live TV is hard and the morning tends to happen very early in the day, but Jesus Pete, we are like two weeks away from one of the kids from One Direction accidentally doing an entire interview with his fly down and part of his ding-dong hanging out. I am generally 100% in support of chaos breaking out on television, but this is really starting to get out of hand. Get your house in order, people*.
