Frank Ocean Is Too Busy Street Racing With Tyler, The Creator And A$AP Rocky To Release His New Album

It would be unreasonable of fans — and let’s be clear, many have — to demand to know Frank Ocean‘s every move. Yes, it’s true, Channel Orange is a once-in-a-lifetime kind of record, and like everyone else, I have waited for Boys Don’t Cry with the same impatience (great art can’t be rushed, apparently). But, at the end of the day, Frank is just a normal 28-year-old dude. And what do average, everyday twenty-somethings with a ton of money do? Street race in their fast cars, of course.

Last night, Tyler, The Creator posted this clip on Snapchat of both he, Frank, and A$AP Rocky racing each other, presumably in their hometown of Los Angeles. The typically reclusive singer joined up with his old friend for a quick race to prove that he lives his life a quarter mile at a time. While many of us wish that he was just flip the switch on his phone or computer or whatever to release the long-awaited Boys Don’t Cry, he’s out here living his life and enjoying himself, so we can’t be too mad. Well, unless he releases another livestream without any explanation, then we may have to set up a spike strip to get him back into the studio. For now, we’ll just have to wait until that app texts us when Frank’s new masterpiece is here.
