How do you feel about Disney morphing their animated classic Beauty and the Beast into a live-action blockbuster? Are you excited? Nervous? Aroused if you have a thing for anthropomorphic clocks? A few new images from the upcoming film should inspire confidence in the project.
Three new pictures have bubbled up with the star attraction unquestionably being our first glimpse at Lumiere and Cogsworth. Before you get a giant neck tattoo featuring their likeness, there’s something you should know. “These designs are close but may not be final… ” offered producer Jack Morrissey alongside the introductory peek. The image is a frame from a feature on the live-action film tucked into the Beauty and the Beast 25th Anniversary Edition DVD.

We’ve also been treated to some thrilling Luke Evans as Gaston and Josh Gad as Lefou action. (It’s always nice to hang out with Gaston.) Plus we can all gawk at handsome gent Dan Stevens looking more princely than beastly.

Fans and lookie loos will have a chance to see a whole let more when the Bill Condon directed motion picture hits theaters on March 17, 2017. Here’s hoping the 25th anniversary DVD of this new Beauty and the Beast has a featurette on Ewan McGregor and Ian McKellen going method to prepare for their roles as Lumiere and Cogsworth.
