Hugh Jackman And Luke Evans Are The Dueling Gastons Of Your ‘Beauty And The Beast’ Dreams

Ruggedly handsome actor Hugh Jackman played Gaston in a local theater production of Beauty and the Beast. Ruggedly handsome actor Luke Evans is playing Gaston in Disney’s upcoming live-action remake of Beauty and the Beast. Are they the same person? There’s no way to know for sure, but yes.

The two-people-who-are-actually-one-person appeared on The Jonathan Ross Show, where they, along with some humans who don’t eat five dozen eggs every morning, sang “Gaston,” the only song from a musical Men’s Rights Activists will admit to liking. There’s spitting, and dead animals, and biceps to spare, and thick necks, and now the MRAs are thick somewhere else.

Jackman is the superior Gaston — his vocals match Richard White’s, who voiced Belle’s stalker in the animated original; he also has a masculine bravado that Evans can’t quite match. Not that it matters, because again, they’re one person. Can’t wait to see Luke Jackman act with Emma Watson.
