Fans of the sublimely subtle and insightful Michael Bay Transformers films will be happy to learn that a favorite will be returning to the mix in Transformers: The Last Knight. Joshua Joyce, the character who wished to build his own Transformers without considering the full breadth of the implications of such, will be returning with Golden Globe-winning Stanley Tucci once again bringing the character to life, reports Variety.
Tucci was in Deauville for the Deauville Film Festival this weekend to be on the receiving end of a career tribute, where he confirmed that he would soon be off filming Transformers: The Last Knight, reprising his former role as an anti-hero. Joyce will have to live with the fact that he created Galvatron in the previous installment of Transformers, which really seemed like an awful idea at the time. Perhaps he should invest in some trusted advisers and not ones who help him to create an evil clone of Megatron?
This film is set to be the last Transformers film directed by Michael Bay, although there has already been an order from the studio for a Bumblebee spin-off and a Transformers 6, meaning that fans of vehicles that are more than meets the eye will continue to be delighted by the franchise into the foreseeable future.
