Every once in a while, a story comes along that can’t help but inspire, the tale of someone conquering long odds even with everything working against them. And here’s a good one to start off your week. Drake‘s Views managed to stream more than 1 billion times even though I think it’s mad boring and stupid long. #MondayMotivation

Drake revealed that his latest album is the first to reach 1 billion streams on the upstart Apple Music streaming service in a series of posts to his Instagram. Drizzy was presented with a massive award by Apple’s Very Own Tim Cook and Larry Jackson for reaching the milestone, no doubt on the strength of tracks like “One Dance” and “Controlla” — which even a hater like me has to admit are pretty great.

Views clearly didn’t need the bump, but Drake gave it one anyway this weekend when he released the short film Please Forgive Me inspired by songs from the album. More than likely he’s just trying to continue his absolute domination of the Billboard charts for an entire year. He wants that Adele money.

For Views superfans — who are clearly out there — we have even more good news. Drake made the album available on vinyl along with If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late and his Future collab What A Time To Be Alive.
