The Late Show filmed their Friday show on Thursday this week, putting Stephen Colbert into a little pickle when it comes to the blockbuster leak of Trump’s lewd comments to Billy Bush. So to make up for it and keep up with other hosts in late night, Colbert put out a “live reaction” video of him watching the leaked clip from Access Hollywood.
The host also added some key Twitter reactions ahead of the video release, landing some sharp blows about Trump’s past, his comments in the video, how it proves pretty much everything that’s been reported about Trump’s record with women.
I'd love to play this Trump audio clip on my show, but on CBS you can't even say "grab." #TrumpBush2016

This could hurt Trump's sterling reputation as a guy who demeans women 4 being overweight, using the bathroom, menstruating, and existing.

Who takes someone furniture shopping to seduce them? Is Trump hoping for a three-way with Raymour and Flanagan? #TrumpBush2016

The fact that Trump thinks that's a grabbable piece of anatomy is yet more evidence we need better Sex-Ed in this country. #TrumpBush2016

Even better is how Colbert actually managed to hit on the subject of Trump with women on his Friday show, showing just how prevalent the entire saga is without the lewd recording. Trump has a record of using words that affect women on their looks, defending himself by saying it was done for “entertainment” purposes. There’s also the Playboy videos featuring Trump, leading Colbert to chat with the man behind unearthing the video in an odd video from his monologue.
Colbert doesn’t go live for the second debate, so we’ll have to wait for his reactions there on Monday — if Trump even seems to make it past the debate. He might finally reveal his true form and fly back to a cave in Scotland.
