Florida college Falcons freshman, Anthony Allen, must not have known his own strength. After a turnover led to a missed layup during yesterday’s action, Allen followed up the miss by his teammate with a putback slam that effectively ended the game. Darryl Dawkins would be proud.
The video quality leaves a lot to be desired, but this was hand-shot from the stands at the game. Regardless, Allen’s rim-rocker actually pulled the rim entirely off the basket support; that’s a good way to announce your arrival on the college basketball scene.
