Kevin Love Threw One Of His Patented Outlet Touchdown Passes To LeBron For A Slam

LeBron James added a touchdown reception from Kevin Love to his already exciting Saturday evening of basketball.

James took a Love lob for an easy two points against the 76ers in Philadelphia. Love’s pass looped nearly from key to key over a number of Sixers players and right to James, who took a few steps and finished with an easy right-handed slam.

Earlier in the game, James broke into the top 10 of the NBA scoring list, passing Hakeem Olajuwon for 10th all time. James also was the victim of a vicious block from Joel Embiid, though it *probably* should have been called goaltending.

Embiid, Love and James have clashed throughout this one. Love was also crushed by Embiid in the paint, though no foul was called.

But back to the touchdown throw. Love is no stranger to passes like this, though he has had an interesting few seasons with the Cavs since getting traded from Minnesota in 2014 when James returned to Cleveland. He’s already said he doesn’t care about his critics, but the media and some fans have been especially tough on him since he cost the Cavs two number one overall picks to bring in the playmaker. He was also recently roasted by LeBron James for wearing some duds on his feet during a high school photo shoot.

When he’s on, though, he’s making passes like that. I’m sure James doesn’t care what he’s wearing on his feet when he’s getting easy looks like that.
