We’re not sure why anyone in Los Angeles even bothers to have a car. If you need a ride somewhere, just get mega-famous and James Corden will get you to where you need to go. Just warm up those vocal cords first.
The ridiculously popular celebs-n-songs Late Late Show staple Carpool Karaoke already has Madonna lined up for a future instalment and now it’s been revealed that Bruno Mars has also bummed a ride with the CBS chat show dude. Word tumbled out earlier that the 24K Magic tune vendor was spotted filming his Carpool Karaoke appearance and the news would later be confirmed via the magic of Instagram.
“When an unstoppable force meets an immovable object @j_corden” wrote Mars in the caption of this somewhat cozy shared selfie. “Thanks for the lift.”
Provided legal headaches don’t eat up too much of his time, Bruno Mars should be in promo mode for an extended stretch. His Unorthodox Jukebox follow-p, 24K Magic, made its debut on November 18. Early reviews for the album have been somewhat warm, albeit a touch limited at this stage of the game. It doesn’t seem unreasonable to imagine Mars will score some extra sales thanks to this appearance.
