Wait, Did Jeremih Send An Imposter To Perform In Houston?

At one point in life, everybody probably fantasized about the idea of having a twin to send to school for them so they could sneak a day off whenever they felt fit. It’s one of those things that ends up in children’s books and is so unrealistic that it’s comical, kind of like the sitcom episode where the ladies man takes two dates to the same place on the same night. It’s funny, but we all know that could never happen, right?

Well, Jeremih may have tried to put the idea to fruition when he played hooky at work by reportedly skipping a show in Houston and sending an imposter to perform for him. Fans at the show took to social media to wonder complain about a rather lackluster performance in which “Jeremih,” lip synced the entire set with a hood over his head, never once revealing himself to actually be Jeremih. Many believe that it wasn’t the platinum singer, and they are voicing their opinions over the perceived slight.

Jeremih would not be the first to pull off this trick. Rapper MF Doom is notorious for sending fakes to shows, wearing his trademark mask and performing tracks from his catalog, much to the chagrin of his fans. Jeremih has not issued any statements, although one of his most recent tweets about a show in Chicago is especially conspicuous given recent events.

Who knows though, maybe it was Jeremih, or maybe he listened to his inner Evil Kermit and sent a doppelgänger to do his job for him, maybe it was Evil Kermit. It seems like everything is a possibility at this point.
