If you’ve ever wanted to see Justin Bieber get roughed up by a 6’6” professional hockey player, the NHL All-Star festivities just granted your wish. The pop superstar was involved with the Celebrity Shootout at this year’s event and while he performed well on the ice, most people couldn’t stop talking about his run in with Chris Pronger:

It all seems like good fun and Biebs was all smiles during the event, but things look a little more squished if you look at a closeup photo:

No matter, Bieber was quoted calling this one of the “highlights” of his life — something you’d assume is required of every Canadian if they get near a hockey rink.
All of this pales in comparison to anything we’ve seen on MTV’s Rock N Jock sports in the past. Bieber’s confrontation with Pronger is nothing like the time Roger McDowell paid a friend to take out Coolio’s knees before 1995’s Rock N Jock challenge or when Pete Rose steamrolled Jonathan Lipnicki at the inaugural All-Star softball game.
Cheers to Bieber for being a good sport about it all and enjoying himself. It’d be easy to bad mouth the guy, but I can’t even skate. Bieber is clearly the better person.
