Radiohead have been teasing an event around the anniversary of their classic album OK Computer, first with mysterious posters and then with a glitchy video clip, and today they’ve finally shared the details on a reissue dubbed OKNOTOK.
The new box set will contain “the original twelve track album, three unreleased tracks and eight B-sides, all newly remastered from the original analogue tape.” The vinyl edition of the album will include ” triple-sleeve gatefold holding three 180 gram black 12″ vinyl records containing the original twelve track album, three unreleased tracks and eight B-sides, all newly remastered from the original analogue tapes.” And the set includes a hardcover book with over 30 artworks, many of which have never been seen before. More exclusives include:
“A notebook containing 104 pages from Thom Yorke’s library of scrawled notes of the time, a sketchbook containing 48 pages of Donwood and Tchock’s ‘preparatory work’ and a C90 cassette mix tape compiled by us, taken from OK Computer session archives and demo tapes.”
It also includes a digital download of 320k MP3, 16- or 24-bit WAV of 23 tracks, and a download of the cassette will be inside the box. The vinyl edition will be available from 6/23 and the box sets ship in July. Purchase details are available here.
