Lonzo Ball Educated ‘The Starters’ On What’s Baller And What’s Not

Lonzo Ball is having himself a time in Las Vegas. After a rocky first game in Summer League, Ball bounced back with a triple-double and is starting to find himself on the court. He’s also getting used to appearing on television and showing off more of his personality.

Ball joined The Starters on set live at NBA Summer League on Monday and played a game of “Baller or Nah?” where J.E. Skeets and crew asked Ball whether a series of things were actually baller or not baller at all.

Among the list of baller moves? Wearing your sunglasses indoors, hugs, and his father LaVar Ball’s WWE entrance a few weeks back on Raw. We even learned some things about Lonzo during the segment. He prefers horse power to horses, the three-fingers emoji to the poop emoji, and doesn’t approve of dogs wearing clothes.

It’s a fun segment that let Ball teach us a bit more about him beyond his slick passing and his family brand awareness. Much like the Father’s Day commercial he filmed with Foot Locker, Lonzo’s proved he has his own personality hidden behind his father’s bluster.

Ball even reveals he has four rottweiler and he’s never seen Game of Thrones, though he’s also never seen Shaq’s feet so maybe ignorance is bliss in this case.
