Boiled-down game summary alert: Notre Dame’s playing like sh*t and its opponent, Arizona State, isn’t.
This should warm the cockles of every Fighting Irish haters’ heart, as the Sun Devils have scored 21 of their points so far off super-dumb Notre Dame turnovers. Seven of those 14 came on this incredible catch by Jaelen Strong. Strong used one mitt to bring in the pigskin while maintaining a one-footed drag to ensure the touchdown counted. It was very nice–if you’re not a Notre Dame fan, of course.
At the time of this posting, at the beginning of the second quarter, the Irish are still stinking it up and losing 24-3. But that will happen when quarterback Everett Golson has turned the ball over four times in just over a quarter of play.
