As Burnsy noted earlier, President Barack Obama took the stage away from Stephen Colbert on tonight’s special D.C. episode of The Colbert Report and gave his own version of ‘The Word.’
He made it a bit more presidential, of course. Renaming it ‘The Decree’ for the duration of the segment, but keeping the “original” script the same. It’s a fantastic segment, even if it doesn’t feature the showdown that I had hoped for when it was announced last week. That took place later, when Obama sat down for a full interview with Colbert.
