“Like I said, if we aren’t better this year, we’re gonna re-unite again and do some bigger and better things, alright?”
-LeBron James to Dwyane Wade
Listen to this clip from the Christmas Day game between Cleveland and Miami—then listen to it again—then listen to it 100 more times after that. The background noise is an issue but it seems pretty clear to me (and almost everyone else on the internet, including Bill Simmons) that LeBron told Dwyane Wade the two would re-unite again.
Sure, this may have just been a sentimental moment between two friends, a little nostalgia during the holidays. But given LeBron’s recent remarks about leaving Cleveland if “his hand was forced”, well, you have to think something’s going on. You have to think he’s a bit unhappy in Cleveland.
For what it’s worth, he responded to this last night.

Well, that doesn’t clear anything up. In fact, it makes it murkier than ever.
