Donald Trump began his Friday morning in a unique way for a presidential candidate — by unleashing his latest attack in a ridiculous feud with former Miss Universe Alicia Machado. Now, everyone knew this campaign would be something that America had never seen before, but Trump continues to reach new heights of ridiculousness. He woke up early and rage-tweeted over a nonexistent sex tape and called Machado “disgusting.” Much of this may have to do with Trump’s sad week after losing a debate, but it’s only the latest instance of Trump’s derogatory rhetoric against women.
Trump’s Democratic rival, Hillary Clinton, already unloaded her own rant in response to Trump’s rather unhinged missive against a civilian. And Trump has been feeling the criticism from a “few people,” so he explained himself fully — in his eyes — on Twitter. Trump’s attempting to spin the obsessive timing of his rant, which he says proves he’ll be the better president because “I will be there, awake, to answer the call!”

For Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders, the problem with Trump’s silly claim was all too clear. The Bern thinks “it’s pretty telling” that Trump only feels criticism for the odd hour at which he was tweeting.

Sanders can rain down fiery rants too, but he knows how to keep things simple, and that was the trick here in proving the absurdity of this entire situation.
Bern added one more tweet to the mix to emphasize his point.
