The Damian Lillard-Kyrie Irving point guard showdown was supposed to be the match-up of the night on Wednesday, but the battle of the big men in Detroit wasn’t anything to sneeze at either. So far, Andre Drummond has gotten the better of Hassan Whiteside, punctuated by this monster block late in the second quarter.
It was one of four blocks for Drummond on the night so far. He has 18 points to go along with 15 rebounds and four steals midway through the fourth quarter. Whiteside, on the other hand, has had a relatively quiet night with just six points and eight rebounds as the Pistons hold a 98-75 lead.
