J.R. Smith Is ‘Making Everybody Happy’ In Game 5 According To Coach David Blatt

J.R. Smith has been absolutely dreadful so far during the Finals. Going into Game 5, he was shooting less than 30 percent from the field, including 0-of-8 from downtown in Game 4. But he was due for a revival, and that’s exactly what happened in the first half of Game 5 Sunday, when Smith went 4-of-10 from three and scored 14 points.

When David Blatt was asked in between the first and second quarter about what it means to the team when Smith is playing well, he had a simple response: “It makes everybody happy.”
