When it comes to Lance Stephenson, you never know what you’re going to get. He could explode for 30 points, or he could go 0-11 from the field. He could let his game do the talking, or he could talk smack to DeAndre Jordan after hitting a few layups. That’s what happened when the Grizzlies took on the Clippers, and Jordan had absolutely no time for Stephenson’s jawing.
Clearly, there’s no love lost between the former teammates. Stephenson was one of the Clippers’ many reclamation projects, trading for him after his disastrous tenure with the Hornets. That project failed, and the Clippers shipped him (and a first round pick) to the Grizzlies for Jeff Green. Stephenson finished with 12 points, while Jordan had 16 as the Grizzlies triumphed over the Clippers, 113-102.
