The curse of the big man is their dunks don’t seem as impressive as they would be if they were executed by a smaller player. He’s seven feet tall, of course he should be able to dunk like that.
This is unfair. Not all big men are built alike, though, and the gap in athleticism between someone like Nikola Pekovic and DeAndre Jordan is as wide was the talent gap between Michael Jordan and the kid from Like Mike before he got Jordan’s sneakers.
So let’s stop being highlight snobs and appreciate this Jordan dunk for what it is: pretty darn awesome.
