Former NBA guard Baron Davis has always been a film buff. The former All-Star is a member of the Screen Actor’s Guild and has appeared in/produced several movies and TV shows. Most recently, Davis appeared as himself in Entourage and was a producer on the 30 for 30 series Sole Man.
Now, Davis gets to add “actor in Joe Dirt 2: Beautiful Loser” to his résumé. The extent that Davis is in the film is unknown, but according to a Red Band clip posted on Wednesday, he appears in the movie as a doctor. He’s tasked with telling Joe Dirt that his testicles were punched into his stomach, and he has to use a pair of tongs to get them out. You should watch it, because no description can accurately sum up how bizarre this is.
If you’d like to watch Joe Dirt 2: Beautiful Loser, it will premier on Crackle on July 16. No matter what, there’s no way that this will top Davis’ best acting performance… that time he did a Superman impersonation and dunked all over Andrei Kirilenko during the 2007 NBA playoffs.
