Kobe Bryant’s final All-Star Weekend as a player was a special time for lots of NBA stars. It was a chance to appreciate all the memories the Black Mamba gave those around him, and for Kobe himself to soak it all in one last time. One of the most significant parts of that was the private dinner thrown for him by his close friends Carmelo Anthony, Chris Paul and Dwyane Wade. Now, TMZ has released some video from the night, of the hosts roasting and toasting the guest of honor.
Kobe seems like he had the time of his life, and he also has the “I’m getting roasted laugh” down pat. There are plenty of sweet moments, like Carmelo’s heartfelt tribute, but the moment when CP3 gifts Kobe a cane is just as great as you’d imagine.
