Kristaps Porzingis Threw Down A Huge Alley-Oop Jam Against The Pistons

Despite all their offseason finagling, the New York Knicks have gotten off to a rocky start. But one of the bright spots has been sophomore Latvian sensation Kristaps Porzingis, who is quickly becoming one of the league’s biggest young stars.

During his rookie year, he made a name for himself with an array of monstrous put-back dunks, but on Wednesday night against the Pistons at Madison Square Garden, the 7-foot-3 center showed off his speed, agility, and hops when he threw down this thunderous alley-oop jam from Brandon Jennings. It was good for two of his 25 first-half points.

Porzingis is averaging more than 19 points and six rebounds per game so far this season, while shooting nearly 40 percent from behind the arc.
