Knicks forward Kristaps Porzingis consistently does things that players his size should not be able to do. Over the weekend it was this reverse dunk over a seven footer in Lucas Nogueira. Then again, while impressive, a dunk for a 7-foot-3 big man isn’t really that out of the ordinary.
Crossing up a dude and hitting a jumper in his grill a la Steph Curry, though? Now that’s something special.
That’s Porzingis on the perimeter, getting Salah Mejri unbalanced with a crossover and putting up the 21-foot jumper. Looks a lot like something Curry does often, don’t you think?
This isn’t something that a human of his size should be able to pull off so effortlessly. The only way to take this to the next level is to work on keeping his feet behind the arc. Porzingis’ shot was only a two. If you’re gonna put in that much work out there, get all three, man.
