It’s safe to say that Lamar Odom is not in a great place right now, and we don’t mean Las Vegas, where he lays his head (Vegas is pretty sweet). When a TMZ Sports camera got stuck in his face on Wednesday, Odom lashed out in response to TMZ’s own allegations that he “ambushed” his ex-wife (though divorce proceedings are ongoing) Khloe Kardashian and “freaked her out” outside SoulCycle, which is apparently a gym just for spin class.

Odom was pissed and, while defending himself, laid down some real talk about where his life is at after the downward spiral he’s experienced since his last couple of years in the NBA. At one point, he said, “I probably couldn’t get f*cking hired at Home Depot right now.” That’s some dark stuff, Lamar. He continued to vent at the camera (and he knew he’d hear about it, considering his apology to his fans and family), but started to turn his sights on TMZ itself.

Most of his rant is the boilerplate speech about privacy and TMZ’s poisonous effect on him, other celebrities and society in general. He finishes it off by accusing TMZ of racism for targeting black celebrities. He definitely got his money’s worth once he decided to pop off. He’s clearly in a sad state right now, but he stood up for himself pretty well.
