Did LeBron Flop After Tristan Thompson Accidentally Slapped Him In The Face?

That’s LeBron James getting hit in the face by Tristan Thompson’s elbow during Game 3 of the Eastern Conference Finals on Saturday night. The elbow only smacked LeBron in the face because DeMarre Carroll pushed it. But, as the above Vine notes, everyone thought it was a flop.

Even a Vine account named after James asked if it was a flop.

It was a common assumption.

Some even used it as evidence LeBron isn’t the best player in the world.

We’re not so sure.

It wasn’t even the first time someone mentioned LeBron flopping.

James is a pretty big guy, so we can understand the backlash any time he falls to the court like he’s been shot after some contact. But Tristan is 6’9, 240. That’s pretty big. Maybe we give James the benefit of the doubt here? Or not. Yeah, lets not. LeBron totally flopped. And he probably traveled, too. LeBron is an overrated cheater.

Cleveland’s polarizing superstar has a team-high 20 points and the Cavs have cut the deficit to five with 4:!6 left in the third. J.R. Smith is keeping them in the game along with LeBron, hitting 5-of-10 from deep. Meanwhile, the Raptors backcourt has shot 15-for-26 from the field for 39 points.
