Ryan Boatright was a big part of the reason why UConn was able to win it all last year, and even though the Huskies have had a disappointing season overall this year, the senior seems committed to making sure it’s not over yet for Connecticut.
Boatright crossed his guy up and buried a three at the buzzer to beat Cincinnati on Friday night in the AAC Tournament to keep UConn’s tournament hopes alive. If the Huskies can make it through and win the conference championship, they’d be in as an autobid. It maybe sounds crazy, but so did picking UConn to win it all last year.
