Stephen Curry Made A Special Edition Of His 3ZER0 Shoe Modeled On Ayesha Curry’s Cookbook

The Curry clan’s brands are collaborating and the results are surprisingly tasty. Golden State Warriors superstar Stephen Curry designed a special pair of his Curry 3ZERO shoe to honor his wife Ayesha on Mother’s Day.

Nice Kicks has all the details about these Chef Curry-branded 3ZER0s, which eschew the usual Golden State Warriors color palate Curry usually adheres to and borrows from Ayesha Curry’s cook book, “The Seasoned Life.” It’s a pretty snazzy palate to work with, so it’s pretty hard to roast these unlike many of Steph’s other shoes.

The book’s title appears in cursive script on the shoe’s clear bottoms, while the words “CHEF” and “CURRY” are placed on the midfoot support shanks. The shoe itself is an update on the regular season version of the 3ZER0 and is supposed to be lighter and offer more support for the wearer.

“We wanted to take his shoe, and in designing for the postseason, we wanted to make it a lighter version,” says designer Kort Neumann. “We started with a marathon shoe, and now we’re building a racing spike or a race car for a 2-month time period.”

The shoes will be available on UA.com starting on Mother’s Day, but the most important part of the story is not the shoe, but what Steph Curry has his wife’s contact information listed under: “First Name Baesis.” That’s adorably weird and probably a bit too perfect, which is very much on brand for both of them.
