One of the big announcements from Marvel at Comic-Con was that Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. was getting fan favorite Mockingbird as a recurring character. But we didn’t know who was playing her, until just now.
And it’ll be Adrianne Palicki, according to EW. Nerds know her best from, uh, being an absolute curse on superhero shows; she was in the failed Aquaman pilot and the Wonder Woman pilot that was so infamously terrible it was buried and never spoken of. Although, to be fair, neither tanking were really her fault.
That said, this isn’t a pilot, and it’s not like she’s a bad actress; she’s actually quite experienced with genre shows and movies and has the requisite ass-kicking abilities. It also shows that Marvel is willing to put some budget into the cast, seeing as Lucy Lawless will also be on the show.
Now, of course, the main question… when’s Hawkeye showing up? And will he have Pizza Dog with him?
