Currently, Jada Pinkett Smith is the fulcrum for a truly insane arc on Gotham, where she’s trapped on an island organ farm with a Frankenstein parody. But, apparently, she won’t be getting off that island, at least not for long.
According to TheWrap, Smith, when asked about Season 2, said:
“I don’t think so, I signed for a year and the year’s up.”
Silver lining: The show is overstuffed as it stands, with a whole host of regular and recurring bad guys, not to mention Robin Lord Taylor breaking out. Basically, the show desperately needs more focus and fewer characters, so losing Fish Mooney may not be the worst thing.
