In case you missed it, the second (and, it seems, final) trailer for Star Wars: The Force Awakens debuted to mad, mad numbers on Monday Night Football a couple weeks ago.
Fans were mostly pleased/enthralled/fully engorged at this development but there was a significant question that felt tough to avoid after multiple viewings: Where the hell is Luke?
I mean, there’s Han and Chewie and Leia. So where in the universe is the most important of all Star Wars characters, the farm boy from Tatooine who grows up to be a rebel leader and Jedi master?
It seems the good folks at Gritty Reboots were just as confused as the rest of us. So they took it upon themselves to assuage all of our anxieties and fears concerning the whereabouts of our favorite Son-of-Vader with this killer re-imagining of the actual trailer. Take a look.
