Conan Goes Apocalyptic And Looks For Love In The Latest ‘Clueless Gamer’ Featuring ‘Fallout 4’

The release of Fallout 4 seems to be a bigger and bigger deal, with merchandising tie-ins, fancy commercials and now a new edition of ‘Clueless Gamer’ on Conan. The segment even got its own apocalyptic cold open to boot, featuring Conan with his own Pip-Boy, a classic car and a Gilmore Girls-themed vault. Then he rips off his suit to reveal his very own Fallout vault uniform.

After climbing down into his shelter, he meets up with his buddy Aaron Bleyaert and instantly feels like an idiot before playing the actual game. And like most episodes of ‘Clueless Gamer,’ the entire thing involves Conan trying to have sexual relations with any female he sees in the game. He fails at every turn, but he does learn that using a computer in a video game is likely the worst experience he has had on the show up to this point. He scolds Aaron and ends up beating him up at the end of the game — using his own version of the VATS targeting system.

It’s a fine segment and it shows off some of the game without spoiling anything, but none of that matters now that the game is practically out. If people aren’t playing it by now, they will be. Hopefully their reaction is a little better than Conan’s.
