“Stallone Watch” continues to be in full effect around the production of Guardians of the Galaxy 2. We’ve previously been treated to a report that Sylvester Stallone was on his way to the blockbuster sequel’s set with (alleged) script in-hand, and now comes a report claiming he’s been spotted doing more than just being in the vicinity of the Marvel cinematic offering.

Everyone scurried away that needs to? Fantastic. On Location Vacations claims to have a source that’s on-set and saying that Stallone is definitely a part of the film.

Now, this week, we’ve confirmed with someone on the set that Sylvester Stallone has indeed been filming scenes for Guardians of the Galaxy 2. The tipster, who wishes to remain anonymous, also told us, “His costume looks a lot like Judge Dredd.”

Well, that’s something worth making a big fuss over if it’s true. (If not, it’s a big bummer of a fake-out.) The outlet’s source also claims that Howard the Duck was also filmed for a scene which amps up speculation and expectations all the more.

Here’s one thing we can confirm: James Gunn is still game to show off some behind-the-scenes pics as the film continues production. Let’s soak in these friendly faces and quietly rate the hand gestures provided to the camera.

Would you want Sly making an appearance in Guardians of the Galaxy 2? How about an increased Howard the Duck presence? Sound off in the comments!
