Lupe Fiasco’s “Lasers” First Week Numbers Are In

Lupe Fiasco endured a long process to get this album to be released. It appeared Atlantic records had shelved it but then decided to give him a release date after he started talking about his issues and protests were planned.

It seems fans didn’t care about the wait with Lupe Fiasco selling 204k records in his first week, an extremely high number for a rapper these days. Did anyone see this coming? How would you rate the album? Lupe Fiasco’s previous debuts were 143k for, “The Cool,” & 81k for, “Food & Liquor.”
