Well, well, well. We meet again, random actor who is so excited to be part of Star Wars that they can”t keep quiet.
Today”s excited culprit is Eunice Olumide – a Scottish supermodel. Speaking to Edinburgh News, the local star was interviewed about her charity work with Climate Revolution and Zero Waste Scotland. But the real charity was giving Star Wars fans a glimmer of new information about Rogue One and Olumide”s role.
WARNING: MINOR SPOILERS BEYOND THIS POINT!
Originally cast to play a nomad, Olumide was quickly promoted to a Rebellion Leader. While she doesn”t have any lines, the character is important enough to garner an action figure.
I did a small feature in Star Wars Rogue One. That was a really awesome experience. I don”t have lines but it was an incredible experience to be part of such an iconic film. There”s a small scene where I run and there”s a tank that comes after me with 20 stormtroopers. There”s loads of explosions.”
Olumide went on to say that regardless if her scene makes the final cut or not, it was an experience of a lifetime to get into the 3D scanner that would create the mold for her likeness in future toys and games.
Rogue One: A Star Wars Story arrives in theaters on December 16, 2016.
