Yet Another Anti-Trump Beer Has Hit The Market

Anti-Donald Trump merchandise has become a bit of a cottage industry, so it’s not surprising that enterprising brewers want to get in on the “F The Donald” game. Chicago’s aptly named Spiteful Brewing has released a new IPA called Dumb Donald in honor (?) of the presidential candidate.

If Trump thinks the press are big losers, wait until he hears the brewery’s reasoning for dedicating a beer to him. According to the Spiteful crew:

“Dumb Donald is, well, dumb. So dumb in fact, we named a beer after him. It’s like he got caught in a pause halfway through evolution. His brain still functions, at a minimal level with a vocabulary of a second grade student. You might even start to feel sorry for this man-child. Resist that urge, pop open this Key lime DIPPA and pretend you’re on a far away island where people like Dumb Donald simply don’t exist.”

That explanation is right on the beer’s label, along with an evolution diagram that shows The Donald halfway between an ape and a man. While Spiteful’s take is particularly straightforward and harsh, it’s far from the first time that Trump has ended up on a brewer’s bad side.

Philiadelphia-based brewery Dock Street released an entire series of anti-Trump brews and 5 Rabbit Cervecceria stopped brewing beer for Trump Tower’s Rebar after his comments about Mexicans. The brewery renamed and sold the remaining beer as “Chinga Tu Pelo” (F*ck Your Hair).
