Best-reason-to-watch-True Blood Alexander Skarsgård was cast as the titular monkey-man in a Tarzan movie to be released in 2016. For long stretches of time during filming, which wrapped in June, he presumably wore nothing more than a dirty loincloth, so no wonder he showed up to the premiere of The Diary of a Teenage Girl dressed as the world’s most glamorous woman.
It’s not immediately clear why Skarsgård, elegantly decked out in blonde curls, long lashes, and a shiny gold dress, walked the red carpet in drag, although, as noted by the Daily Mail, “It may have been a nod to his [Diary] co-star Joshua Grannell, a.k.a. Peaches Christ, the local drag performer who plays a transvestite in the film.” Or he’s hoping to play Hedwig on Broadway?
Either way, I think Ronda Rousey has found her opponent.
That clutch actually weighs more than Anna Paquin.
