Angel, one of the original X-Men, hasn’t had a great run in the movies; he showed up in X-Men: The Last Stand, and, well, has thus been retconned out of existence by Bryan Singer. But Singer has brought him back, as Archangel, as this round of air guitar shows us:
For those not familiar with the comics, Angel is kidnapped by Apocalypse and surgically altered into Archangel. He gives him blue skin, “organic metal” wings that can slice through anything, and the ability to fire his “feathers” at targets. Apocalypse dubbed him “Death Smurf,” er, “Death.”
It appears to be one of Singer’s projectiles he’s rocking out on; we don’t see whoever’s playing him. We assume, however, the pink and blue suit won’t be part of the deal. Even if it would be era-appropriate.
