When you’ve been in the game as long as Jason Statham has, you’re bound to get some sort of compilation of your work based on one of your main attributes. It just so happens that Statham likes to punch people in his films…like a lot. It’s not that the English thespian can’t act, it’s just that so many people on this planet have punchable faces, and Statham was put here for the sole reason of smacking that smug look off their grills. In fact, if people like Statham didn’t exist, the collective IQ of the world’s population would be dwindled simply for the fact that not enough stupid faces have been exterminated.
As you would have guessed, this four and a half minute compilation is heavy on the Transporter series, but it’s also deep and diverse enough to include some punches from John Carpenter’s Ghosts of Mars, so that’s awesome. We last saw Statham punching people in Spy with Melissa McCarthy, and we’ll next see the bloke in Mechanic: Resurrection, because just about anything deserves a remake or sequel these days. With a role in the next Fast & Furious film already cemented, it’s safe to say that we’ll still have several more years of Stathammy clocking bloody blokes’ noggins in dey stewpid faces.
