If the early clips, songs, and interviews have been any indication, Popstar: Never Stop Never Stopping promises to be a raunchy and hilarious start to the summer movie season. With an all-star list of cameo appearances already set – including Justin Timberlake, Nas, DJ Khaled, Ringo Starr, and Snoop Dogg – and a cast of comedy royalty, there is no doubt that Popstar is well-positioned to be one of the best comedies of the year or maybe even serve as this generation’s Zoolander. Teenage pop star satire may not sound as perfect a spoof movie about male models or rock and roll, but every generation gets the satire they deserve.
Now another extended cameo may have just been revealed, if Page Six is telling the truth. A nearly 10-second long close up of male genitalia supposedly has a very famous owner, namely the king of the modern comedy movie himself, Judd Apatow. Akiva Shaffer, one corner of the Lonely Island triangle, told Page Six how the cameo came about, and is it any surprise that apparently it was Apatow’s idea to reveal himself on screen?
“He wanted to show it because he was like, ‘I’ve had this normal but really well-proportioned dick my whole life, and I’ve never shown it. And I’m afraid I’m getting older and going to lose the bod soon.’”
“Well-proportioned” is a bold claim and one that viewers will get the chance to assess for themselves when the film drops on June 3rd. Lonely Island member Jorma Taccone commented on whether or not it is Apatow’s, well, member or someone else’s on Twitter.

It seems like we will have to take their word on the veracity of these claims, even if it is just a very well thought out and cheeky prank.
