‘Suicide Squad’ Undergoes A LEGO Makeover In This Slick TV Spot Tribute

After roughly 500 years of intense marketing, Suicide Squad is finally primed to take your money and disappoint your local film critic. (Cara Delevingne isn’t particularly happy about the second part of the equation.) Just in time for this week’s grand public unveiling is a reimagining of the comic book offering in LEGO form.

The team of Forrest Whaley and Sean Willets have crafted a glorious block-based redo of a memorable Suicide Squad TV spot. All your buds are there. LEGO Leto Joker, LEGO Harley Quinn, LEGO Deadshot, LEGO El Diablo, LEGO everything, dude. There’s some excellent attention to detail and Leto’s Joker somehow seems more restrained in his LEGO incarnation, which ranks as a bonus quirk. You could certainly do worse for a Suicide Squad homage and that will become abundantly clear at any Halloween party you attend this calendar year.

We have this impressive feat of LEGO meets Suicide Squad located at the top of the page for your viewing pleasure. We also have the TV spot it’s based on located below. Odds are you’ve absorbed an immense amount of Suicide Squad hyping promo stuff already, so why not take a detour into the land of LEGO?
