Pressure’s on, X Factor UK hopefuls. Adele says she would be willing to duet with this year’s finalists on the singing competition show, but only if they are good enough to share the stage with her. In an interview with KISS FM in England, the “Hello” singer laid out her conditions.
“It would have to depend on who’s in the final. It depends who’s in it. If they’re rubbish, then no, I won’t.”
You can ask for that kind of thing when your video is destroying the internet and racking up views faster than the Star Wars trailer.
The flip-phone aficionado added that previous contestants would have passed muster.
“There was Ella Henderson, I used to like. But she didn’t make it at the time. I mean, I was pregnant so I wouldn’t have done it. But like, if she was in it this year and she was in the final, I would probably do it with her.”
Another thing Adele won’t stand for? Selfies.
“I ain’t doing a selfie. Someone bought me [a selfie stick] for Christmas and I was livid!”
Adele seems to have jumped back in to the music promotion cycle with both feet, which is odd considering she almost quit music altogether.
