Black Simon And Garfunkel Give Us A Very Solemn Cover Of ‘Uptown Funk’

It feels like we haven’t heard from Black Simon and Garfunkel on The Tonight Show in ages, at least since they came through with a wonderful cover of Ke$ha’s and Pitbull’s “Timber.” They returned by request with a vengeance last night to perform their unique, folksy rendition of the song-of-the-moment, “Uptown Funk,” which is currently dominating radio play and terrible January movie commercials. Obviously, Jimmy Fallon and Co. will read this at some point, so I’d like to remind them that my own request for Nelson’s “Love and Affection” is still waiting for a response. It is, after all, the greatest song ever written.
