Even at 83 years old, Willie Nelson is a g*ddamn workhorse. Nelson’s certainly built up enough of a career that he doesn’t need to release his new album God’s Problem Child. And even if he does, it would be understandable if he didn’t tour behind it. But not only is the country legend hitting the road, he’s organizing one of the most unmissable traveling roadshows you’re likely to see this year. Nelson’s roving Outlaw Music Festival Tour will include sets from Bob Dylan, The Avett Brothers, Sheryl Crow and Margo Price and Jason Isbell — whose fast-approaching new album The Nashville Sound almost guarantees fans will get to hear new music on the tour.
The roving country celebration kicks off in New Orleans on July 1 before hitting five other cities, adding and dropping famous friends as it goes. Check out the full list of dates and some of the announced performers below via Rolling Stone.
