Christina Aguilera isn’t new to nailing impressions of her pop star peers, so it wasn’t a surprise when she busted out perfect impressions of Whitney Houston, Beyonce, Rihanna and more on Ellen. The Voice judge was tasked with tackling impressions of female singers in a special Ellen-style version of “Heads Up!” Aguilera was supposed to sing while Ellen had to guess which artist the talented singer was impersonating in 60 seconds or less.
Along with her on point impressions of Houston’s “I Will Always Love You”, Beyonce’s “Single Ladies” and Rihanna’s “Work” — even though she fumbled the words a little bit; Aguilera outdid herself with Madonna’s “Like a Virgin”, Katy Perry’s “I Kissed a Girl”, and Adele’s massive hit “Hello”. The singer only said “eggs” and the song name to Lady Gaga’s hit “Born This Way”. Unfortunately for Aguilera, she lost the game with 10 seconds left when she couldn’t name or sing any Barbara Streisand hits only mentioning the legendary singer’s bad case of stage fright.
In the past, Aguilera has hilariously impersonated other artists like Britney Spears and Miley Cyrus and even Chaka Khan and Cher. Many younger artists like Demi Lovato, Ed Sheeren and Ariana Grande have successfully covered Aguilera’s songs and powerhouse vocals in the past.
