As we’ve documented previously, people are going nuts making covers of Daft Punk’s inescapable “Get Lucky.” And now we can add a bonafide banjo cover to the this, thanks to a guy named Charles Butler.
Random Access Memories is amazing, go get it. I am going to cut a new version of this to offer as a free download, and produce some banjo tab for those who are interested, probably within a week or so.
This is pretty stellar, but it still doesn’t come close to a NOLA brass band cover of a Daft Punk song. Then again, I *might* be a little biased. Nice work, Charles.
