Dave Grohl proved he was a tough SOB when he broke his leg during a Foo Fighters show in Sweden and still returned to finish the show. Despite having to cancel some dates, the band returned to the stage for a July 4th show at RFK stadium in Washington, DC and it featured an interesting sight: Dave Grohl as king Foo atop his mighty throne.

Complete with a purple cast you may have signed on Twitter, Grohl played most of the entire show while sitting on a Foo Fighters ‘throne.’ Sure it looks like a chair in front of some sort of Foo Fighters-themed platform, but that’s not going to stop me from making some sort of reference to Game of Thrones.

Grohl did hop up a few times for a few acoustic tunes, but did most of his entertaining from the lord’s seat. You can see most of the show below thanks to the power of YouTube (at least for as long as the video stays posted) or check out the photos from the event. You can’t deny the guy’s dedication.
