Snoop Dogg will truly become Snoop Lion on April 23rd, when the rapper-turned-reggae star releases his 12th studio album (but first as a big ass cat), Reincarnated. The Major Lazer-produced “No Guns Allowed” is the second official single from the record, and a drastic improvement over the first, “La La La.” It’s extremely laid back, with a sample snagged from Beirut’s “Nantes” and guest appearances by Drake, the Police’s Stewart Copeland, and Lion’s daughter Cori B, but Snoop sounds as natural as he has in years.
